Europe has its 2011 Green Capital! Hamburg pipped 34 other cities to the post in the race to the title. Now the Train of Ideas from Hamburg travels around Europe exhibiting its visions of a green future to transform people into environmental protection enthusiasts.

Brussels, Sustainable City! Exhibition,
7 September to 30 October 2011

Climbing a 25-metre-high tower, you will see not only how Brussels is planning to become a European model of sustainable development, but also an overview of the actions and projects already put in place in the Region to improve the quality of life of its people while at the same time placing less of a burden on the environment. At the top, a hanging garden, providing a new and unlikely view over Brussels and its exemplary projects. The exhibition will be open from 8 September till 30 October 2011, free of charge, and can be visited by persons with reduced mobility.
